Thank you for joining me today, and if your hopping then you’ve come to me from Stephanie Nash. I haven’t checked her project out yet, but I’m sure it’s lovely. I’m super stoked about this challenge because the colors are the ones I suggested! How awesome is that! I was inspired by this photo that I found on pinterest. I just loved the colors and how well they went together.
The colors of this challenge were not an issue for me, however what stamp set was I going to use.. that’s where I had the problem, but once I got that sorted I had no issues, so I have two projects to share with you today. The first is my card.
I decided as you can see to go with the Daisy Delight bundle. While I love this set, I haven’t really put it to good use yet so I was more then happy to use it today. I absolutely love how that daisy looks in night of navy, and if you notice the centre. I did use a retired item, an epoxy accent, but this look could also be achieved with our fine tip glue.
The second project was inspired by a layout from our artisan design team here.
I have to admit I don’t do a lot of scrap booking, but I’m getting more into lately, and I really enjoy using memories and more kits in my pocket style scrap booking, but I love how this page turned out. I used a sponge brayer and a mask to achieve that background. It was more work then I care to do again on a 12 x 12 layout, but I am happy with how it turned out. I love the smokey slate, and the butterflies that I sponged the edges of to make stand out. I am really happy with these two projects and I hope you like them too.
Thank you again for joining me now please check out Tricia Butts who is the next person in our hop today.

I was wondering how you created the background. Perfect, I love the whole layout. I have saved it to my Pinterest pages.

I would be in Heaven if I received that crocheted blanket that gave you the color combo inspiration. Seriously. Fantastic card, it is not a color combo I would have thought of using with the Daisy suite! Thanks for sharing 😀
