Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop 12: Kids Cards

Global Stamping Friends Logo

Welcome to my input for the Global Stamping friends blog hop number 12.  This is my second or third time joining this hop.  The theme today is Kids cards.   I do a lot of kids cards, as a Mom of two boys it seems like there is always a birthday happening.

My oldest son just recently decided that turtles were his favorite so I decided to use that as my inspiration for this card.  I used the fox builder punch to make these adorable little guys. The main color is Stampin’ Up’s new in-color tranquil tide.. I love this color, and while it’s not my favorite of the in-colors it’s the one I have used the most so far.

Seriously, how adorable are these!!!! The shells are made with the eastern palace dsp. The same pattern front and back.

I stamped a background with the stamp set High Tide. Love how versatile that set is. I stamped it on very vanilla paper to match the new thick very vanilla card base I used.

I tied it all together with a few mat’s and  flags. I think it’s adorable. My son hasn’t seen  it yet, but I”m sure that it will get two thumbs up from him.

Thank you for joining me today and please keep  on hopping to see some more great kids cards.

  1. Turtle power! Your punch art is so clever and I love your use of the Eastern Palace DSP. So much creativity in this card!
